This power loader exoskeleton is not much of a weapon,it is actually a tool for heavy lifting.It takes it name from the movie Aliens in which a similar kind of a loader was used.

This monster of a loader is made of 500 lb of aluminum alloy and is equipped with 18 electromagnetic motors.The motors generate enough power for its operator to lift an object as heavy as 220 lb which means it can lift a fully grown human being without breaking a sweat.Work is under process on this project and it is expected to be available in commercial version in 2015.Lets just hope the aliens don’t approach us until then.

we are also planning to design and build an exoskeleton but thats an upper extremity exoskeleton and we would be restricting ourselves to 3 DOF preferably. This is a real great piece of work as it has the full suiting and i don’t know how many DOF….
