5- Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain.

Guggenheim museum has been designed by architect Frank Gehry. The curves are designed to catch light with limestone and glass. While the panels are of titanium to look like fish scales. This unique museum was opened in 1997 and is situated by the Nervion River in the Spanish port city of Bilbao. Well done Frank this is too good.

4- Believe it or Not Building, Branson, Missouri (USA).

Believe it or not museum is one of the many museums owned by THE RIPLEY’s company. This unique architecture is in the memory of the earthquake of 8.0 richter scale that struck New Madrid, Missouri in 1812. The building is designed as if it has just survived an earthquake. Whether you Believe it or not is another matter.

3- The Dancing House, Prague, Czech republic.

Prague is usually known as a city with old classic eastern european structures. But as you can see this is different and that is why its in the top 5 list of unique building architectures. It was designed by Vlado Mulinic and Frank Gehry(again). The building has a corporate firm and a french restaurant. Its also know as the Drunk House. Strange names!

2- The Crooked House, Sopot, Poland.

The design of this building comes from the legendary Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. The buildings exterior is eccentric with its roof covered with blueish enameled tiles that look like dragon scales. The interior however is conventional with bars and shops. MORAL: All that is crooked is not ugly.

1- The Basket Building, Newark, Ohio (USA)

This basket beauty is home to a basket manufacturing company called Longaberger Company. This seven story beauty is a replica of the normal hand woven baskets we use in daily routine. The owner of the firm Dave wanted to have all his company buildings to be in the shape of these baskets but he died and the dream couldnt be fulfilled quite simply because SPECIAL THINGS ARE MEANT TO BE ONLY ONE.
