Microsoft on the other hand is also a giant in the field of operating system as well as Web in the form of MSN. Yahoo has established their place in world wide web firmly by their E-mail and Search engine. Now Microsoft and Yahoo will work together to tackle their Arch-Rival Google.

On this occasion Steve Ballmer said.

“Through this agreement with Yahoo, we will create more innovation in search, better value for advertisers, and real consumer choice in a market currently dominated by a single company”

Yahoo Chief executive said

“I believe it establishes the foundation for a new era of internet development and innovation”.

Yahoo was in loss in previous years and was struggling to become profitable again while Microsoft launched its BING search engine recently. The combined Force of Yahoo and Microsoft BING will certainly result in a good consumer experience and better results of search.
